“I’ll be sending her home to get some sleep, Sir.”

     “Very well.  If you need anything from us, Adam, just have Dessie come home to get us.”

     “Thank you, Sir.”

     Ryan excused himself to go home.  Adam woke Mr. Peterman and the nervous doctor told him about his plan to send the wire to Oklahoma City.  Adam asked Mr. Peterman to share supper so maybe it might be better received over food.  The older gentleman seemed to take it well, just concerned about his wife and that her condition was not improving.
