The wilderness, she lies in wait

as if she's setting up her bait

ensnaring anyone who'd dare

to try and harvest all that's there

and callously decide her fate.

So don't disrupt it with your gait,

her resting meditation state,

and hope instead she traps a bear,

the wilderness.

Be careful if you're there too late

and all alone, without a mate,

because you need always beware

that once you step inside her lair

you and your life could separate -

the wilderness.
