Winter’s Snow
Sparkling diamond dust
Carpeting the earth
It crunches and compresses
Under the weight of my feet

Disturbing this twinkling delight
With clumsy footprints

A jeweled powder so precious
I would come to view your beauty every day
But alas, it cannot be so
So I shall drink in this moment
Brand my mind with your image
And dream of you after winter departs
