I have ever felt more alive

These words

Manifesting in my mind

From the magical ether

Are like electricity

Flowing through my veins

I have tried so many things

I have experienced

Dead ends a-plenty

A once-proud dilettante

I now throw myself

At the mercy

Of St. Brigid

A year of poems
