I take a Yoga class every Tuesday. I try to do yoga at home a few times a week, but there’s nothing like an actual class. I work harder and reap more benefits with an instructor in front of me. Plus, it’s more fun doing yoga with girlfriends and not my cat. She never wants to grab a glass of wine after.
The only problem with going to class is the fear of releasing the wind. If you’re not familiar with yoga, when you do twisting poses or put your knees into your chest, you cut the blood flow to your intestines. After you release the pose, the blood rushes through causing a detox effect which essentially may become the passing of gas. In a small room. With other people present.
It’s my worst nightmare.
