My best friend is moving.  She’s only moving about 30 minutes away, but with the move means her kids will go to a different school.  Her kids and my kids are also best friends. This was tough news.

I knew my kids would take it hard. I knew there would be tears.  I didn’t know how hard it would be for me. 

When I told my girls, they cried, asked questions and then went on with their day.  Seeing as our BFf’s will only be half hour away, we can still do sleepovers, movie dates and barbecues.  It won’t be the same, but at least they’re not leaving the state, right?

I kept telling myself that when I picked up my oldest from his dance class. I took advantage of the fact it was just us in the car and broke the news to him.
