I’m alone for the first time in months.  Steve took the kids to visit his parents and I stayed behind because I had jury duty. Turns out, my group wasn’t called to serve so I get a few free days to myself.

I’ve been fighting a terrible bronchial infection, so I should just lie low. I have a stack of books next to my bed I’ve been dying to read. But I can’t let two uninterrupted days go without doing some cleaning and organizing. Yesterday the downstairs stayed clean all day so I’m beginning to think I’m not problem.

I slept in this morning then took a walk down to the girls room. I promptly turned around, went downstairs and had a doughnut.
