I almost died the other day.

Okay, I didn’t, BUT, a meteor hit Michigan the other night while I was getting into the shower and I THOUGHT I might die.

 Flash of light, big boom, then the house shook.  I thought we were being bombed! 

Well, first I though the neighbors turned on their flood lights and then the boom and house shaking was the kids horsing around.  Being naked, I didn’t run out of the bathrooom but listened for tears and my husband’s footsteps. They never came. Obviously nobody was hurt, so I took my shower, all the while wondering what happened to shake the house like that. 

As I toweled off, my blood stopped cold.  Holy shit were we being bombed?
