We’ve all done it. Finger pointing.

Sometimes we point to show someone where the McDonalds is. Other times we point to place blame.

Frequently I point with my middle finger in traffic.

I recently came across an article about the Royal Family and pointing. According to the article, members of the Royal Family are prohibited from pointing.  If someone needs to know where the loo is, a Royal must wave their hand in the general direction.

Suddenly pointing seemed so crass. I was determined to wave with all of the elegance of a Windsor from England.  Quickly I had forgotten I’m a Caplis from the Midwest.
