Yes, there are cute bunnies

And plastic eggs filled with all things sweet

Yes, there are bright colors

And fun, and family meals with much to eat

Yes, Easter Sunday is all of these things

And so very much more

Yes, this special day is about Jesus

And that’s Who the celebration is really for

Yes, He died for our sins on the cross

And paid the price in full

Yes, He is our Lord and Savior

And on our hearts He does pull

Yes, He brings meaning to this joyous day

And His sacrifice has opened Heaven’s door

Yes, let’s have a great celebration

And happily proclaim Jesus is Who Easter Sunday is for!
