September 17th

Thank goodness we hired Lucy. I’ve barely slept for the last ten days and she’s been at the shop alongside me through it all.

I may adopt her.

So much has happened and I haven’t had a chance to write it down here. Here’s a short version.

1. We worked like crazy to finish fitting out the shop
2. The crafters produced gorgeous stuff and I want to buy everything
3. I am totally sleep deprived
4. Jamie has taken to referring to himself as a Craft Shop Orphan because he never sees me or Cal (who helped loads)
5. We did a “soft-launch” two days ago on Thursday so we could get the hang of dealing with customers and using the cash register<...
