Today is my birthday.

Last year’s barbeque was a hoot but Tommy has a big harvest barbeque planned for the next week so we only invited my Dad over a nice dinner. Astoundingly Cal even volunteered to cook with some help from Hannah on the vegetarian side of things.

“Are you sure you want to cook?”

“Aye. You’ve been holding the fort all year while I studied and I have this week off for revision. I’m sure I can cook a couple of steaks.”
