March 10th

Today was a busy one and my muscles are aching. I’m glad to be here with a cup of tea, a pen in my hand, and a few moments of peace.

Hannah and I spent the morning at the market. Yolande had warned me the market is pretty quiet until Easter and they’re right but the regulars still come. Yolande sold out by noon, as she always does. I don’t know how she does it. She always brings exactly the right amount of stock.

I’ve a notebook now, with a red and yellow spotty cover, to record what items I sell. The online advice is that you have to know what sells. There’s no point making loads of dog leashes and then discovering they never sell, but baby hats do.
