I am now the only member of my family not studying.  I have Hannah learning English spellings, Jamie trying to improve his scores in geography and history after nearly failing them in his Christmas exams, and Cal is buying text books and watching online seminars.

He got approval from work for a distance education forensics course.  His work will pay half the fees. He’s delighted. I was too, once he explained how we’d be funding the other half of the substantial fees for the two year course.

“I’ve got most of the first year fees covered from overtime and the money I got working security with Mick last year.”

“Let’s not mention that, big guy.”
