I’m glad nobody reads this diary, because if somebody did they would be dragging me to Alcoholics Anonymous today.
I spent the evening with Sophie, Marion, Yolande, and a cluster of other friends at the new steak house in Drogheda, not because we wanted steak but because they’ve a great cocktail menu. It was Women’s Christmas, the west of Ireland tradition where the women-folk get a night off on January 6th as a thank you for all their hard work over Christmas.
