There are many legends in the music industry; Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Jimi Hendrix, Cher; the list goes on. However, some people become legends only within a very specific part of the world, or within a very specific culture. This appears to have happened with Bert Weedon for some reason. Bert Weedon (May 10, 1920 - April 20, 2012) was a legendary British guitarist; in 1959, his track "Guitar Boogie Shuffle" became the first track by a British guitarist to enter the UK Singles Chart. Some called him the UK's first guitar hero. He published a series of guides, Play in a Day, that taught a great many people how to play the guitar.
