Crys remarked. “You could have gone the easy route and bought Ghostbusters uniforms. But no! You even have the little green patch with ‘HRL’ sewn on and everything.”

“Let me guess,” one of the men said. “You’re killing us with kindness.”

“‘Killing’ is something we’re trying to avoid,” Crys answered. “But yeah. The whole ‘war—againt-the-others’ thing’s a no-go. We’re better than that. And since you’re here, we might as well all have a good time, right?”

The Exterminators eyed Crys warily. She smiled and flounced off to rejoin the other Wise Men.

“Everyone gather around! It’s time for the first event!” Rennick clapped his hands loudly, and the room turned its attent...
