The biggest threat to New Orleans is not its paranormal creatures.

The world beyond the Regency Two had faded into a blur.

All that the crew at the club knew of the outside was what was shared with them by the NOSPN team, who were holed up in their offices in a similar fashion. There were a few smaller enclaves as well.

The normal humans did not know it, but the city of New Orleans was locked in a civil war.

Some of the paranormals who had previously fled the city had now returned. This was only partly reflective of an increased sense of security.
