replied. "He went out of his way to threaten my son and Sayeva."

Jamison scowled and asked, "Is that when you found out he was a vampire?"

"Yes."

Jamison set a list of dates and times on the table. "I need to know where you were at these times."

Samuel looked at the list, then took out his cell phone and scrolled through his calendar. He jotted down his locations next to each date. Most of his notes included the initials "SR" or "JC."

"Great," Jamison said, looking over the paper. Samuel had provided alibis and contacts for every single date. Often enough, Jamison was that contact. "Thanks."
