The investigation growing around bounty hunter Brig Yorker has generated more questions than answers.

"State your name for the record, please."

"Brig Yorker."

She raised an eyebrow. "Your real name."

"Cody Williams."

Avian Morrison stood alone in an interrogation room with the self-proclaimed paranormal bounty hunter. She was a well-proportioned woman, but not quite near Yorker in size; all the same, she leaned with a casualness that suggested she was ready to bowl over Yorker at a moment's notice.

"There's a warrant out for your arrest in New Jersey," Morrison said. "So what brings you out here?"
