"Wait," Jamison said. "You're mad because a police sergeant, street racer, and known adrenaline junkie is putting himself in danger?"

"You aren't mad. You're scared. Talk with him about it and get over it. Not necessarily in that order." Jamison held the door open for her, and they went back into the restaurant.
