“Oh, we did that this morning when you threw the proverbial gauntlet. Utilities back on, bank accounts open, et cetera. I got your bank to shift the decimal point in your balance one space. Whether I moved it left or right is your guess.”

“Why are you doing this?” Sayeva asked.

“In geek parlance, we say ‘good game.’ Call it that.” Jaime grinned again. “See you Halloween night. And keep your phone on. Your new printer’s gonna call in like an hour.”
