"I see." Kenton said no more than that, but gestured for the two guests to follow him as the elevator stopped again.

Paul looked around him as they walked and leaned in close to Sayeva. "You know Astaire Kenton but we've never used him as a source?"

"Not for lack of trying." Sayeva gave Paul a wan smile. "He's impossible to get in touch with."

"Nothing is impossible, Sayeva." Kenton shot them a glance over his shoulder, and Sayeva wondered just how loudly she had actually spoken.
