(Author's note: This "extra" is not in the format of the usual stories. It's a sort of supplement to "Ghost Stories," and includes a few resolutions to that and some exposition/information I had to cut from "Ghost Stories" for conciseness.)

Aware as she was of Samuel's tendency to arrive anywhere early, Sayeva made sure to be present at the park fifteen minutes ahead of the time he had arranged to meet her. She pulled alongside the curb in time to see him emerge from the car parked ahead of her.

The sun was just rising, casting the great buildings of Tulane and Loyola Universities in a beautiful orange glow. "Good morning, Sam," Sayeva called as she walked toward him.

"Good morning, Sayeva." Samuel gave her a brief nod. Sayeva blink...
