Julia headed for home two after making Travis’ acquaintance.  He promised her a dinner when she returned.  She tried to convince herself that she would be a fleeting memory by the time an entire month passed by.

He practically consumed her thoughts during the holidays, wondering if she was on his mind at all.  Smitten and ridiculous were words used on herself, acting as a teenager would during her first crush.  Well, technically she was nineteen for a few more months.  The juvenile musings still frustrated her.
