It has been so easy to slip into the shadows, undetected, especially with the lingering chaos that is still consuming so many. Normality has ceased to be for such a long time now, so it comes as no surprise that coming up for air at this time and place has left me breathless. In the blink of an eye, everything has changed, and I wasn't even a spectator for any of it. 

Life just happened and kept on happening without my consent. I didn't want it to be this way, but then again, people rarely do. Instead, I find myself questioning everything I know and everyone I knew. Blinders of everyday life have been relinquished, and it's as if I am seeing things for the very first time. Real things.
