When you disconnect, there is some sort of semblance of “normalcy” that is regained through absence. I think that is something that people crave from time to time, especially living through all these historical moments.

I mean, I never thought that I would live to see these kinds of days. Strange Days. Long Days. Worrisome Days. It's overwhelming and frankly, hard to decipher what is real and what is not. In fact, it's all real, and that in itself is frightening. 

I am trying not to focus on the chaos out there. Instead, trying to soothe the chaos within. It's hard not to be “stuck” in the same default setting. I want to see beyond what is out of our control, but at the moment, none of that seems possible. <...
