Where are the moments of quiet I seek?

It has all relented to the chaos of life and times we live in. I am finding it hard to keep myself grounded, sane, whatever that is. At this point, it feels as though it never existed, to begin with. The days are mundane and blend together. I am aware that this isn't only my plight, it's something so many others are struggling with. The world has been put on a perpetual pause.

This wouldn't be so bad if we were on the outside looking it. A disaster movie in progress, one that we could disconnect ourselves from. Unfortunately, no matter how hard I have tried, there is no disconnecting from this reality we find ourselves in. The current climate would make an excellent “end of the world” type movie troupe.
