I'm one of those painfully cliche Canadians. I apologize too much, including to inanimate objects. I love my Tim Hortons, the obsession is real, and it feeds my caffeine habit, so I'm not going to complain. I watch hockey and root for the home team. I do use the word Eh, much more than I should, and I'm too polite for my own good.

Is there such a thing as being too nice? If you would've asked me a few years ago, my answer would be no, of course not, what is so terrible about being nice all the time? People seem to respond well to others who treat them with respect and use impeccable manners. Although over time, I have learned there is so much more to it than that.
