Dear God,

     I’m sitting outside with this stray dog, named Ray, who has managed to come back again after the pound picked him up once, and his owners came and got him once.  He’s the sweetest thing.  A little smaller than a German Shepherd, but comes with baggage.  The owners did come the other day to try to catch him, but he was having none of that anyway.  He ran around the house a couple of times, then ran into the field behind our house where the hay (if the owner of a farm behind us would use it for that) was and just stayed down, I guess, until the owners left.  He waited about an hour, then came back to our house.  There’s some stuff he doesn’t like at his house and the woman let a couple of things out of the bag, like th...
