Q: Where are you from?

A: The suburbs of New York City

Q: What do you do for fun?

A: I read. I write. I think about angels and demons and cops who have been hurt in the past and true love and magic and cowboys and vampires. I like to go shoe shopping too.

Q: What is your favorite music?

A: This varies. At the moment I am listening to a lot of jazz. Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, John Coltrane. I like to keep it all instrumental while I’m writing....
