I often dream of New Orleans.

It's strange because it's the only city where I've lived that haunts my dreams. Sometimes New York factors into my nightly sojourn, but it's usually more in the context of I'm at my parents' house or at my old high school. It's an incidental thing. I never dream of San Francisco. Not once. Not even while I lived there. Pittsburgh either for that matter. It's like they don't exist once I close my eyes.

But New Orleans… I often dream of New Orleans.
