The story if how I quit smoking is neither inspirational nor glamorous.

On Sunday, April 18, 2010, at about 10:30 p.m., I ran out of cigarettes. I can recall standing in my kitchen, staring into the empty box. There was not a lot I could about it. I was not about to put on pants and walk a half a mile to the gas station to buy a pack of cigarettes. That's not to say I hadn't done it before, because I totally had, I just really didn't feel like it that night. It was late, it was raining, I was in my pjs, and I had to get up at 6:30 a.m. to go to my day job dungeon. With a sad heart, I went to bed instead. I figured I'd just pick up a pack in the morning.
