Freddie knew something was different as soon as they all filed into the chapel. It took him a while but then he realized it was the sound of the organ. Quick Draw’s playing was – well – so much more exciting. The instrument had come alive. He was a different person. The piece was one that Freddie had heard before, but never like this.

Freddie managed to whisper to Vanessa. ‘Quick Draw’s in good form.’

‘I agree. Wow!’

The prelude came to a triumphant conclusion as Principal Szabo and Father Jeffrey took their respective places on the stage.
