‘Are you sure you want to stay? Wouldn’t you be better at home?’

Freddie May shook his head vigorously.

Donald May looked at his wife and shrugged.

Catherine May put her arm around her son. ‘It’s alright Freddie. I believe you.’

‘So do I Fred. There must be an explanation for what happened.’

Freddie May looked at his parents in turn. ‘So, you don’t think I’m fibbing when I said there was a golden head in that cubby hole in the organ?’

Donald May sighed and shook his head. ‘No son, I don’t. But someone must have moved it while you were asleep on the bellows. It’s a good job that Dr McGraw here thought to look inside the bellows when he did. We were so worried about you!’
