Diana Foster felt good. She looked at her watch: a PB was in sight. The ruinated chapel could be seen in the distance. It was exactly three kilometres from the school. She experienced pleasure when she got to the chapel door, touched it, then sped back a different way to complete her run. What a strange place! Why build a place of worship here? And a round one at that!
She began to think of ideas for a research study using Templeton Taylor’s book as a starting point. She looped round the ruins and through the nearby cemetery. The idea had legs; what better way of engaging the students than getting them to delve into the planning and building of this estate? Why had it not been done before as part of the archaeology project?
