Georgie Ellis loved driving. The Z4 was her baby. Nobody else – not even her father – was allowed to touch that car. Just because Dad had bought it for her did not mean he had rights to that steering wheel.

‘Great car George! I just wish there was more room in the back!’ Riggs attempted every which way to get comfortable; try as he might, he was in for a rough ride up to Templeton Towers. At least the hood was up.

‘Whoever thought to build a place up here?’ Ellis struggled to keep control of the Z4 on the narrow road.

‘A local lad made good, Charlie. Sir Templeton Taylor. Working class boy from Hartley, turned mill owner, turned landed gentry. He ended up in the House of Lords!’

‘Textiles, wasn’t it, sir?’
