Who would think to look for us on a moon? One small tidbit I did recall from class was that moons were a dime a dozen. Far away planets are already hard enough to find, and even harder to get to. Far away moons are an afterthought at best. And if that storm was as bad as Benjamin said, then the other Shamus crafts may not even know that we shipwrecked.
