I unpacked my laptop, from its bag by the front door, and decided to see what I was getting myself into in New England, and look up some of this stuff about Charles’s and Diana’s daughter.  There wasn’t much, a few tabloid stories, but nothing concrete.  There were some photo-shopped pictures of Diana’s face pasted onto some girl with long blonde hair, and they looked more cheesy, and fake, than some back shot would have looked.  So, who was I supposed to be interviewing, some crazy woman who wanted attention, some victim of an elaborate lie, or the real deal?  There was a reference to a book, a novel that a woman had written, in which this was the plot.  At the time she wrote it, she claimed it was fiction, but then later said it could have been based...
