“You know, as a kid, you see things, and you hear things, and you get glimpses here, and glimpses there, of stuff, but you just never get the big picture.  Or maybe you do, and you keep denying it to yourself.”  She paused.  “I never saw the big picture.  Now, I’m seeing it, and it’s so scary I lived with this.  How does someone live dual lives like that?”

     “It’s part of their sickness.  They get really good at it.”  I paused and tried to figure out a way to ask her.  I didn’t want to press.  The only way I knew how to ask was just to ask right out.  “I think we owe the truth to London…and the world.  I want to print this story.”
