I’m at the point where I don’t really care to keep up with modern advancements. I’ve become too old to learn something new. There are constant software updates, new apps, new words, new acronyms, and new technology. And my brain wirings are becoming too stiff to wrap themselves around these. It’s not always a choice; it’s a fact of aging.

I can’t learn things as easily as I used to. My brain cells aren’t growing and expanding anymore. Forget memorizing anything. My memory is failing, and although it is somewhat caused by medication side effects, it’s frustrating when words are at the tip of my tongue, and yet I never seem able to utter them, at least at the exact moment I most need to....
