I want to start at the beginning. Why did people get so wrapped up so soon in the pilot episode of Lost? For this part of the series I will probably watch some of the episodes again. 

The pilot has the most perfect opening. It's like watching a Masterclass in drawing the viewer in. Because it starts with the absolute smallest amount of information with just an eye opening but there is a lot in that because the eye looks frightened. Then we see a man in a suit, then he is in a jungle. Why would a man in a suit be in a jungle. Then there is a dog. It's like every second gives more answers and then also more questions.
