Jack was in the kitchen finishing up his task when he got the vague sense that something was…off. It was almost as if there had been a shift in the air of their apartment. He heard someone walking on the carpet towards the kitchen and did not anticipate what he was about to see. As Elizabeth came fully into view, his jaw dropped. He had no words. All he could do was scrunch his forehead, widen his eyes, and gesture with his hands towards the person who was supposed to be his wife.

“I…uh…I thought you were meditating?”, Jack barely managed to get out.

Elizabeth regarded him with a grin but didn’t say a word.
