The looking-glass revealed many things. One of these things was something Elizabeth didn’t recognize. Another of these things was that this something was only seen in the reflection. Looking everywhere, Elizabeth couldn’t see anything next to her, around her, or behind her. It was only in the mirror where this dark and whispy form appeared. Turning her head back to the mirror, she realized she was completely unhinged.

The voice, now no longer a whisper, spoke again.

“Elizabeth. We’ve been watching you.” the far off, ethereal voice said.
