Doug pushes him over onto the ground and runs to grab a nearby sledge hammer. However, before he can swing it, the imposter kicks him in the thigh which causes his knee to buckle.

Doug drops the hammer as he crumbles to the ground. The imposter climbs to a vertical position and marches closer, looming above Doug, who tries to back away. Unfortunately, his injured knee allows him to only slither on the ground as best as he can to avoid his impending doom. Doug clasps the hammer again just as the imposter clutches his throat.
