Sometime later, amid the dark blanket of black, there is a streak of light when Doug opens one eye. He looks at his immediate surroundings wondering if he has been taken aboard the cone structure again that Garth and his followers have been using. The room is bare with metallic walls and a softly lit ceiling. His cot is a firm, metallic plank. As he scans the area, he notices that there are no doors and no windows. He is, for all intents and purposes, perfectly trapped.
