Cooper was not far behind as he came after wife. He wasted precious hours as he slept off his hangover before setting out to find her. Bea advised him that Lexi had taken the kids to Louisville.
From there, he found a conductor who remembered her presenting a ticket to Boston. He followed her down the eastern coast until her trail ran cold in Charleston. No one he encountered had seen her since she exited the train.
On his third day in town, Cooper caught a break. He was sure he spotted Lexi as she made her way toward the beach. As he followed her at a distance, he witnessed her bound up the steps of a house near the water.
