At first, Lexi was apprehensive to bring up her dilemma to Cooper. Another month went by before she gained the courage to confide in him about her condition. He deserved to know the truth, so he could move on with his life without her.

Lexi became aware her engagement ring was missing from her finger during her ordeal with Damon. When she returned home, she found her most cherished piece of jewelry on the table beside her bed.
