Leading into the emerald green of the jungle, the road curved and twisted ahead.

“What does that mean?” the boy asked his mother.

“That greed kills, my boy.” She shook her head.

“Says who?” The boy rolled his eyes, irked by his mother’s superstitions.

“Says nobody,” she said, forgiving the boy’s arrogance “For the dead don’t talk.”
