She slithers, her long body shining in the sun like an emerald river. Fluid, like the water that gave her substance. She’s no woman, she’s a goddess. She’s a demon, too. Which one will you encounter? It is up to you, for her face, the sweetness of it, or the ferocity of it, will show what’s in your heart. Approach her with goodness  for all creatures of the world coursing through your veins and she will smile wide at you. But let a splinter of hate come to your mind, and she will devour you.
